Our Story

I was in my parent's kitchen, my hands covered in chocolate and all-natural peanut butter, hand-rolling ball-shaped treats as gifts for my friends and family. I wasn't sure if it was my uniquely crunchy peanut butter center, or that I'd stumbled upon just the right rich chocolate coating, but one thing was for sure: the "Balls," (as they soon affectionately became called), were a hit. Friends insisted that I make them again the following year. And the year after that...

The demand just kept growing, which I guess is what happens when you mix equal parts of chocolate and fun together!

It wasn't long before my holiday treat evolved into a holiday party, which friends appropriately titled "Jer's Ball." A great tradition for a great cause: Over the years, Jer's Ball made donations of thousands of pounds of canned goods to local Food Banks. I decided to parlay my personal volunteer efforts in my community with a great product and from such humble beginnings; Jer's Handmade was born.

My confections started as a gift, and that tradition continues as we give back to our community, taking a very proactive role in working with non-profit organizations and charitable events. Just like my confections, our company's goal is simple and unique: Produce delicious, unique, high-quality products that make people feel good!

Today, my handmade confections have become an Award-Winning sensation!

But as great as the acclamation of my peers may be, it doesn't compare to the look on the face of a customer trying my confections for the very first time!
