SAN DIEGO, CA – Jer’s Chocolates, an international award winning San Diego chocolate company, announces its 5th Annual Chocolate Experience Under the Stars. All profits from this decadent evening benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Join the experience on Saturday, October 1, 2005; from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM at the Wyndham Emerald Plaza Hotel in downtown San Diego. Laura Farmer, the Susan G. Jer’s Chocolate is a great partner and they work hard to ensure a great evening is had by everyone.” The event is so meaningful, that Jer’s will launch their new flavor, Toffee Break, at the event…a fabulous combination of peanut butter and toffee.

The evening includes a wide array of fabulous delectable chocolate tasting stations featuring Jer’s Chocolate Confections. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres along with a wine pairing and a chocolate based beer station are just a few of the culinary experiences at the event. However, a don’t miss is the incredible Chocolate Martini Bar. A final indulgence is creating your own hand-dipped treats at the numerous Dessert Dipping Fountains for the ultimate chocolate wipe-out experience. In addition to all of the tasty treats, the evening includes an incredible silent auction where everyone is sure to find something they want to call their own. The live entertainment makes it a joy to work off the chocolate so that you can go back for more.

This year as in the past three years, 100% of the proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Staff from the Komen Foundation, will be at the Chocolate Experience to promote the Komen San Diego Race for the Cure® and to register those persons interested in signing up to participate. The Race for the Cure® 5K will take place on Sunday, November 6th in Balboa Park and the Komen Foundation is expecting more than 15,000 participants.
